  • Umm I don't think safebrowser has anything to do with it.the update helper seems to be trying to install an account that already exists.repeatedly. For a very long time, looks like.??!?!?!?! What this seems to have done on my desktop is that the registry became corrupted!!!and I was unable to logon as me. FORTUNATELY I had a spare logon and was able to.

As a part of a database installation, I am installing Access 2003 Runtime. When I first tried to install Access 2003, the installation said I already had it installed and prompted to uninstall, repair, or reinstall.I tried all of the options to install Access 2003, however none of the options seem to work as expected. When installing Access 2003, the installer asked if I wanted to replace or repair my existing installation. I tried this both ways (repair and replace). In both cases, I get the following error:'Error 1316. Setup cannot read from file C:VpcsWinAccessRuntime2003Access 2003 Runtime4c5399.msi. Check your connection to the network, or CD-ROM drive. For other potential solutions to this problem, see.' I have checked the file it mentions; '4c5399.msi'.

The file it is looking for does not seem to exist.Things I have verified:. I have admin rights. I have set compatibility to Windows XP SP3 (I have Windows 7 installed). I checked with our IT group, and they say there should be no problems loading this (no restrictions). Anti-Virus should not affect the installation (per the IT group, the AV does not inhibit program installations - the files are scanned when downloaded). I re-downloaded the archive file: VpcsWin.zip, tried all again, with the same results. I have Office 2010 installedAny ideas as to what this error is?
