Avid Artist Control. The only other control surface you might argue is “better” than the Artist Mix, is its brother, the Avid Artist Control. While their designs are very similar, as you can see upon closer inspection, the layout of this control surface is extremely different. Korg Nanokontrol2 Slimline USB Midi Control Surface Nano Kontrol 2 White. Condition is Used, missing 3 faders. Shipping across the USA fast.

Hi allBought the Korg Nano pad II, to help out with my DJ'ing, I also run the Hercules 4mx controller with VDJ 8-Pro, and the Nano pad needed to be re-mapped, after a Skype call and talking with the fellas @ auto mix Products, we both worked on the Mapping code, and even re wrote some of it, the Nano Pad II works floorlessly. After a few tweak's, we even got the X/y pad to effect the deepness and width of Whatever effect, Via re-mapping the P1 and P2 controls, Also Note that the Nano pad II also has a 'Scene button', so infact, you have 16x4 banks (of pads) that you also can re-map to whatever you need to EG trigger off Loops, Cue points, Samples EfX etc, whatever you wanna re-map.It is a solid unit and the price was right, however, none of the pads have.

When i first opened the packaged i was actually disappointed in the build quality the thing felt weak but it was the size i needed. Im a commercial fisherman who likes to dabble in music and wanted something to bring with me out on the boat to mess around with on the closures. It made it through its first season in perfect shape, so my initial reaction was wrong. This thing stayed totally functional on a commercial fishing boat in alaska itll work anywhere.the keys arent soft material like i expected but hard plastic which im used to since i normally use my laptops keyboard to play anyways. The drum pads are soft and seem great. Knobs are wobble but i havent had problems with them.

Controls all work well.turns out despite that it feals cheap it works great only thing i dont like is the price seems like it. I just got my Nektar P1 and it is as sweet as the name implies! The look and feel of it is really nice!

(Very shiny and clean looking). The buttons and faders have a very good action.

I like the buttons(Made of rubber) because they dont make a clicking noise like plastic ones. The faders have a smooth movement action and don't sound grainy when you adjust them. The endless encoders are just as silky with their movement. I also love the spacing they have between faders, encoders, and buttons. Everything isn't crammed together. All the controls are distinctive and you don't have to worry about pressing one by mistake, or having your knuckles bumping into each other because two encoders are right next to each other. The buttons also have excellent backlighting for using the P1 in darker environments.

So the overall look and feel are excellent. Very straight forward setup, no headaches. At first I was skeptical because the bad reviews some ppl had gave to this controller now that I finally own one, I still dont know why some ppl is having issues with it if the set up pretty much self explanatory. 1- firmware update 2- connect it 3-start using it. Yes some daws requires a little bit of more getting into it but at the end of the day everything is due to the software and not the x touch. If you getting this remember this is just 10% of the feeling of pulling faders on a real console ok.you looking for that real fader riding feeling then get a real console. The only thing I had to say I didn't like at all was the grey silver looking sides, which if you can see.

When did nerf come out

If you are considering the Zoom R24.do not hesitate one second. I have had a Zoom HD16 for years, an incredible machine that continues to function perfectly after thousands of projects. But I decided to upgrade to the R24 and it's even better, faster, and has more of everything. Plus several new features.built in condenser mics, a sampler, a USB drive with files of rhythm tracks, and an SD card to name a few.

I spent the first week with it recording an acoustic guitar singer/player.Recording an acoustic guitar is, in my view, the ultimate test, and the R24 killed it I am extremely pleased with the R24 and I highly recommend getting one. So far so good. I’m a logic x user. This works just like a Mackie Control Universal which is what I’ve used for 10+ years.

What’s great is that it has the smaller form factor of the avid artist mix/euphonix mc mix. I never liked Eucon as I’m far more comfortable using the mcu protocol because I know it inside and out.I also have a custom built desk with my master midi keyboard built in. So between me and my MCUs is my 88 key midi keyboard and then an apple keyboard, which makes reaching my MCU a bit of a stretch. My desktop can slide over my midi keyboard, but even with that, my mcu v-pots always feel a little out of reach. The size of the platform m is perfect though. I can even reach the v-pot why playing my keyboard. Love the color as well.

Faders are solid. This control surface is working excellently. There are a few minor things to know about when using it with Pro Tools 11 like getting the latest Eucon drivers (which is pretty easy to do) and then understanding how to navigate around it.

The best tip I would have would be to use the Memory Locations feature in Pro Tools and create them for each set of tracks you want to mix and hide the other tracks for that memory location. This makes it pretty easy to switch memory locations and have the control surface automatically mapped out with the tracks you want to be tweaking during mixing. I would say that on the negative side I have yet to figure out how to really map a specific automation item to a track on the control surface.

I can get to the plugin and then find. UpdateMake sure to plug the USB's directly into your conputer and NOT the Qcon Pro X. The Qcon Pro X just acts as a glorified USB hub and will cause nonstop headaches.

Usb Midi Control Surface

It's better to plug the extenders directly into USB ports on your computer like any other USB device. If you don't you will have nonstop problems.Older reviewArrived with old firmware, which is to be expected. Followed instructions to upgrade firmware (have done this successfully on my other two units before with no issues), but the firmware upgrade hung at 43% and would not complete. After hours of allowing it to sit there stuck, it made no progress. The unit was ultimately non-functional, of course. This product line looks very nice sitting on desk, but has been a giant headache in pretty much every way.
