I'm back after a long blog hiatus of almost 2 months. I guess that's just what happens when your brain gets empty. I know that there are probably a lot of Sayori character analyses out there, but I figured that doing one of my own wouldn't hurt.

After all, she's my best girl. Anyways, there are spoilers in this analysis, so if you have not completed the game, I recommend clicking away, or finishing the game first before you read this post. Now, let's begin with the actual blog.☆✼★━━━━━━━━━━━━★✼☆APPEARANCE☆✼★━━━━━━━━━━━━★✼☆Sayori's appearance fits her personality, even when you discover that she had depression. Her short, ginger-ish hair represent her bright, happy-go-lucky traits, and the little red bow makes her seem cuter.

Humans are the most adaptable and ambitious people among the common races. Whatever drives them, humans are the innovators, the achievers, and the. Dec 1, 2018 - Aarakocra (5e)/Race, Dex +2, Wis +1, Flight, Talons, Aarakocra are. Unofficial conversion of the 5th edition monster to a playable race. Dungeons And Dragons - 5th Edition: Playable Races, All Playable races from Official books D&D books, with ability scores etc. D&d 5e official playable races. Giger's 5e D&D.

As long hair is usually preferred for females, the short hair makes you think that she is without a care in the world, and will not let negative comments from people about her looks bring her down. Her blue eyes represent her purity and cheerfulness, and the bow is an adorable accessory that makes her seem a little bit more girly and cutesy. Unlike other characters, Sayori's inner white blouse is unbuttoned, and so is her blazer.

This also means that she is carefree, and also somewhat hasty. However, there is a darker side to this.Contradicting what I said, there are also numerous reasons why Sayori's appearance is rather depressing. Sayori keeps her hair short, because she couldn't bother with maintaining long hair. Long hair for girls tend to fall out easily if not maintained properly. It also get tangled easily and become knots if it's not brushed constantly. Sayori is too sad to care about her hair, so she cut it short to save the hassle. Her blue eyes could also represent sadness, misery and dullness.

The bow might be her desperate attempt to look adorable and hide her depression. As for her uniform, once again, Sayori is too depressed to bother about her clothes and the impression she gives.Buuut, maybe I'm just overthinking it. ☆✼★━━━━━━━━━━━━★✼☆POEMS☆✼★━━━━━━━━━━━━★✼☆Her first poem, Dear Sunshine, hinted that it was about the protagonist.

He looks after Sayori, so that explains the first few lines about her being woken up. Sayori revealed that the last line 'I want breakfast.' Was because she was writing the poem in the morning. Maybe she was too sad during the night before, and forgot to write her poem. Her second poem, Bottles, referenced her depression towards the end. 'Happy thoughts, happy thoughts, happy thoughts' Need I say more? Her final poem,%, was messed up. It was 'Get out of my head' repeated again and again. This was when she contemplated suicide, and wanted the 'happy thoughts' to get out of her head.

At the end, it showed that Sayori is hopeless. And probably after that, she ended her life. ☆✼★━━━━━━━━━━━━★✼☆POEM WORDS☆✼★━━━━━━━━━━━━★✼☆Her poem words are what you would expect a happy-go-lucky girl would like. Except there are a few hints to depression here and there. This means that Sayori fails to hide her misery at times, example near the end of Sayori's route.☆✼★━━━━━━━━━━━━★✼☆DEATH☆✼★━━━━━━━━━━━━★✼☆Ah, the most shocking scene in Doki Doki Literature Club. I can still remember it as clear as day. Sayori hung herself.

The act of hanging oneself is usually linked to suicidal thoughts, which is linked with severe depression. Sayori had severe depression, so this makes you think that she committed suicide. However, that might not be so, as Monika might have played a big role in her 'suicide'.If you had not noticed, Sayori's hands are bloodied in the death sprite. There are many theories to why this is so.THEORY ONE: REGRETWhen she hung herself, she might have regretted her decision, considering that the protagonist embraced her the day before. So, she tried to struggle and get herself off the noose and hurt herself, but it was too late, and she died.THEORY TWO: FORCEDMonika has all the power to the game files, so she probably made Sayori kill herself. Sayori realised this, and tried to get the noose off, but she failed to do so.THEORY THREE: REFLEXESUsually when people hang themselves, their necks snap, which then instantly kills them.

In Sayori's case, that did not happen. Her neck did not snap and she suffocated to death. So, her survival reflexes kicked and and she tried to remove the noose. But, she died.

My own thoughts is that, before Monika decided she wanted the player, the girls really were all fine. Yuri didn't cut, Sayori wasn't extremely depressed, and Natsuki wasn't - from assumptions at least - abused.

Literature

It wasn't until /Monika/ appeared, that she decided to change the code, change their story, and try to give them all these problems to make /you/, the player, not like them. Her plans obviously failed, in all honestly it only made you more attached to them, and so she went to deleting/killing them off:0 but good analysis anyways!

I feel like you could've said more about her poems and gone into more detail about that, but it's pretty good otherwise!
